Delta Sigma Theta
Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. A sisterhood of more than 200,000 predominately Black college educated women, the sorority currently has over 900 chapters located in the U.S., England, Japan, Germany, the Virgin Islands, Bermuda, The Bahamas, and the Republic of Korea.

Beta Eta Chapter History
The Beta Eta chapter of Delta Sigma Theta was chartered May 7, 1937 on the campus of Alabama State University by 15 courageous women who wanted to make a difference in the world through an array of public service initiative and by promoting academic excellence. Member of the Beta Eta Chapter strive to uphold the legacy of our dear charter members by enacting various activities on campus as well as in the community.
